Hiawatha National Forest Taking Applications For ‘Special Use’ Permits
Individuals and organizations interested in proposing “special uses” on the Hiawatha National Forest during the 2023 summer and fall seasons will want to submit special use applications by the February 15, 2023, deadline (for summer/fall uses) and by July 15, 2023, for winter/spring uses into the following year.

Munising School Public Library notes
The library’s book club, Alger Reads, is in full swing with the start of the new year. It meets the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the library. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, February 28 at 6:00 pm and we will be discussing the book The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune. It’s a bestselling contemporary fantasy story from the Lambda Literary Award winning author. Request to hold your copy now so you can read it before our next meeting.
