Superior Central girls fall to North Dickinson
The Superior Central girls basketball team was able to limit the offense of visiting Felch North Dickinson on Monday. The Lady Cougars struggled on the offensive end in their own right however, dropping the contest, 32-22.

Munising wrestling took part an invite at Gaylord The Munising wrestling team competed at a two day tournament down in Gaylord on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Mustangs took part in the JV portion of the event.

The Superior Central boys basketball team has done a good job at not allowing losses to turn into losing streaks this season. The Cougars kept that positive trend going on Friday, when they defeated Rapid River 51-31; this occurring just three days after a tough road loss to Carney-Nadeau “Coming off a loss, we didn’t want to turn it into consecutive losses and needed to protect our home court,” head coach Adam Ely said. “Jason Kanerva came up big for us with some defensive possessions at the end. Overall, we aren’t thrilled with how we played this week, we need to clean some stuff up to make our push towards the end of the season.”

Munising boys defeat Ishpeming, push winning streak to eight games
A solid night offensively. A shut down night defensively. An eight game winning streak. Things are starting to come together once again for the eighth ranked Munising boys basketball team. The Mustangs were hosting Ishpeming in a non-league contest on Friday, and used a well-rounded effort to claim a 53-28 victory.
