Strawberry Poke Cake
Main Ingredients: 1 box White Cake Mix + (Water, vegetable oil and egg to make the cake) 1cup boiling water 1box (4-serving size) Jell-O™ strawberry--avored gelatin 1tub (12 oz) Whipped Fluffy White Frosting 12 fresh strawberries, cut in half Directions: 1)Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make and bake cake as directed on box for 13x9-inch pan, using water, oil and egg whites.

Munising softball comes up short in opening games
The Munising softball team was able to open their new season on Friday at Felch North Dickinson. The Lady Mustangs lost the games on scores of 17-2 and 15-5, but head coach Casey Ford still found plenty to be pleased with.

The Superior Central softball team had a great opening week to the season. The Lady Cougars won all six of their games by mercy, including Friday sweep at Gwinn; 25-2 and 25-7. In game one, the Cougars were able to plate 13 runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back, highlighted by Kiera McDonald hitting an inside the park home run.

Superior Central baseball drops opening games to Manistique
The Superior Central baseball team said hello to the new season on Thursday, April 18. The Cougars played at home against Manistique, although they lost both ends of the double header, 4-2 and 12-2.
