Munising golf wins Big Bay Invite, Carter Deatsman sinks hole in one

Back on May 8, the Munising golf team had quite the memorable day at the Big Bay de Noc Invitational at the Garden Golf Course. The Mustang boys won the event as a team and Carter Deatsman pulled off the impressive feat of getting a hole in one. “As a team we were consistent with our scores to have two in the low 70’s and the rest in the 80’s, it really went well for us,” head coach Bette Immel said.

Seeking God’s Presence: A Local Journey

It appears that a man in Topeka, Kansas, decided to write a book about churches around the country. He began his journey by flying to San Francisco and then started working his way eastward. Upon visiting a very large church, he began taking photographs and noticed a golden telephone on the wall with a sign reading “$10,000 a minute.” Curious, he sought out the pastor to inquire about the phone and the sign. The pastor explained that the golden phone was a direct line to Heaven, and for the price, one could speak directly to God. Thanking the pastor, he continued his journey.
