Munising, Superior Central track teams take part in Rapid River meet

The Munising track and field team was back in action on Thursday, May 2, taking part in the Rapid River Invitational. With 15 teams in attendance, the Mustangs fared pretty well, with the boys team placing third and the girls coming in eighth. Superior Central was also at the event, and their boys finished ninth, while their girls were unable to score points.

Career Fair in session

Natalie Holmes-Niven O&B editor and creative writer Munising High School Student On May 2 Alger County Communities that Care (AC3) hosted a career fair open to all schools in Alger County. This event was hosted at Alger Parks and Recreation Department (APRD) where AC3’s office is also located.

Graveside services for Darci will be conducted by Pastor Ted Jolls at the Limestone Township Cemetery in Limestone, Michigan on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. Darci died on February 18, 2024 at the age of 48.

Rev. Christina “Tina” Robb

Rev. Christina “Tina”Robb, age 71, quietly passed away at 3:30pm on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the MediLodge Nursing Center of Munising. She had resided at MediLodge with her husband Jim by her side since May of 2023. Tina is now pain free and in the arms of Jesus at peace.
