FBI Executes Federal Search Warrant in Munising: Details Remain Sparse

On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) executed a federal search warrant in the residential area of Munising. In response to an email inquiry from The Munising Beacon, a spokesperson from the FBI’s Detroit Field Office confirmed, “The FBI executed a federal search warrant near the Varnum Road location last week.” When asked if the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church was also included in the search warrant, the spokesperson added, “There was law enforcement activity near the second location, but I cannot confirm if it was related to the search warrant.

Marlene Ann Robbins, age 87, of Chatham and formerly of Munising, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Munising Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Eden Lutheran Church in Munising from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m.
