In Galatians 2:1–10, we read that Paul and Barnabas took a trip to discuss something privately with the Apostles in Jerusalem. Paul was led by God to make this trip to confirm that the Gospel that Paul preached in non-Jewish contexts was equal with the Gospel that Peter, James, and John preached in Jewish contexts.

Lake Superior climate monitoring and maritime safety buoys deployed

Three climate monitoring and maritime safety buoys have been deployed for the season from the south shore of Lake Superior. The Superior Watershed Partnership (SWP) staff deployed the buoys with boat support provided by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (NPS).

The Munising Bay Quilt Guild is holding a free quilt camp from Monday, June 24, to Wednesday, June 26, noon to 4:00 PM each day, at the Munising Baptist Church and School in Wetmore. It is open to anyone aged 8 and older who would like to do a small quilt project. Our project this year is a freeform pieced tote bag, the Frankenbag. All materials are furnished.
