Cougars take part in conference meet
The Superior Central cross country teams brought their conference seasons to a close on Thursday, Oct. 10. The Cougars took part in the Skyline Conference meet held at the Dale Fountain cross country course.

Under a sun-drenched sky at the Dale Fountain cross country course in Banat, the Munising Mustang cross country teams competed at the Skyline Conference championships on Thursday, Oct. 10. Unfortunately for the Mustangs, the injury bug jumped up and bit both the boys and girls teams. The result was that injuries cost both teams the chance to win conference titles.

The City of Munising recently completed the installation of two FLO fast chargers at Munising City Hall, making sustainable travel easier for locals and visitors alike. This initiative, in collaboration with the Superior Watershed Partnership (SWP) and Upper Peninsula Power Co.

Savannah Lassila, a senior at Munising High School, has signed with the United States Space Force, a division in the Department of the Air Force. Lassila is the first Munising student to join the Space Force and is only the third Upper Peninsula student to have been accepted.
