“Having the movie reviewed by The New York Times and so many other major news outlets has been an out-of-body experience for us,” “Green and Gold” director Anders Lindwall said. “But the honest truth of it — what actually fills our hearts — is seeing so many folks from the U.P. packing the theaters, waiting in lines to see a movie by one of their own, blowing up our social media channels. That means everything to us. It’s that type of authentic community support and richness that the whole movie is about, and to see it manifest in the actual theatrical release leaves us speechless. Thank you.”
