The De_ance (shown here) was the _nal ship to pass through the Soo Locks on Sunday, Jan. 15. The barge will make its way down Lake Michigan to Burns Harbor, Ind., loaded with 24,860 long tons of taconite. The De_ance was guided through the locks by the barge Ashtabula.
