Mia Gorman Mia, daughter of Andrew and Melody Gorman, has been on the honor roll and plans to work towards becoming a nurse. Liam McDougall Liam, son of Daniel McDougall and Sarah Shilman, is salutatorian and will attend Michigan Tech. University to study lab science. Trent Rutter Trent, son of Skip and Tracy Rutter, has been involved in basketball and baseball. He is still deciding on his future plans. Jacob Comes Jacob, son of Sara Baker and Gary Comes, was involved in varsity football. He enjoys off-roading, fishing, hunting, and construction. Alice Hancock Alice, daughter of Shannon and Doug Hancock, plans to attend Northern Michigan University to study Elementary Education. Travis Mills Travis, son of Nathan Mills and Virginia Bailey, will attend Bay College to study criminal justice and become a Michigan State Trooper. Breanna Swajanen Bree, daughter of Tim and Heidi Swajanen, is valedictorian. She will attend Central Michigan University for secondary math education. Jaimme Driver Jaimme, daughter of Bob Driver and Alisha Salmi, plans to attend Northern Michigan University to study physical therapy. Baby-Skiles Jackson Skiles, daughter of Desarae Jackson and Fred Betts, plans to earn a master’s degree in Criminal Justice/Psychology. Elijah Penney Eli, son of Gabrielle and Josh Trader, and Michael Penney, is an honor roll student and works for the Northwoods businesses. Lily Swetich Lily, daughter of Luke and Bambi Swetich, plans to attend Northeastern Technical College to earn a degree in architecture. Logan Frusti Logan, son of Brooke and Keith Frusti, has enlisted in the United States Marine Corps to serve as an intelligence specialist. Jason Kanerva Jason, son of Jim and Deanne Kanerva, plans to attend NMU in the fall to pursue a degree in physical education. Deven Pianowski Deven, son of Kendra Kapel, plans to attend Bay College to pursue a degree in small engine repair. Hannah Veverka Hannah, daughter of Ann and Peter Veverka, plans to pursue a degree in psychology. Grant Garrow Grant, son of Kurth and Crystal Garrow, plans to join the workforce after graduation. Paavo Mannisto Paavo, son of Greg and Heather Mannisto, hopes to pursue a career in music but is content working in construction if that doesn’t happen. Clara Rondeau Clara, daughter of Jim and Tara Rondeau, plans to attend either Bay College or NMU to pursue a degree in special education.
