Born Nov. 13, 2024, Daniel James Boucher arrived weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. Known to his family as “Danny” or “Handsome Dan,” he came into the world with an angel kiss birthmark on his nose and a heart full of love.
Danny is the son of Zach and Chelsey Boucher and is named after his Grandpa Dan, who is lovingly remembered. He’s already had some big adventures, crossing the Mackinac Bridge and preparing for his first plane ride in just a few weeks.
Danny has a rich family history. On his dad’s side, his third great-grandfather was a French-Canadian settler who moved from Quebec to Maine before finally settling in Michigan. Daniel’s Papa can trace the Boucher family line in Quebec back to as far as 1749.
His proud grandparents are Larry and Carol Tweedale and Laurel and the late Daniel Boucher. Danny’s great-grandparents include the late Mary Jayne and Richard Hallifax; the late Ruth and Larry Boucher; Mary (deceased) and Norm Livermore; and Frank and Lana Heyrman.
From cheering for his beloved Detroit Lions (he’s already a lifelong fan) to rocking Mustang pride, Danny is scoring points with his adorable grin and go-getter attitude.
Danny is growing fast — he’s now 13 pounds, 23 inches long and discovering all the fun of being a baby. He loves playing on his mat, sticking out his tongue and staring at lights like they’re the coolest thing ever.
Lilah and Lucy, his English bulldog sisters, are already his best friends and biggest fans. With lullaby versions of alt and classic rock hits setting the tone for his days, Danny is bringing smiles and joy to everyone he meets.
Welcome to the world, Danny. You’re already a superstar!
