This photograph depicts the East Munising School and its students in the early 1920s. Built in 1876, the school was the oldest public building in Alger County before it was destroyed by fire in 1924. Notably, it also hosted the first session of Circuit Court. The photograph is provided by the Alger County Historical Society. It was donated to the society by Norma DesArmo.
