ADDING GREENERY TO A WINTER DAY - Munising Flower Shop hosted a Plant Walk on Wednesday, January 17th where participants could enjoy a large variety of plants, before taking one home for themselves. The whole idea was to customize your own plant experience by being able to choose a pot and a plant, which would then be combined while you waited. This was an enjoyable experience, which allowed you to learn about new plants and find one which would be the best fit for your space.

GRAND ISLAND LODGE DELIVERS BREAKFAST TO THE COMMUNITY Grand Island Lodge # 422 will be served up a pancake breakfast on Saturday, January 20th from 9:00 am till Noon. This effort, part of a program which is aimed at serving the community, was met with a lot of enthusiasm on the part of volunteers and diners alike.

Fire Destroys Garage

On Jan 20th, a garage caught fire at 4358 Au Train Trail. Fire fighters were called at 8:46 PM to the structure in Onota township to battle the blaze. Units from Au Train and Munising Township and the City of Munising rushed to the scene.

Cheer Team @ Grand Rapids

Have you been paying attention to Cheer Team this year? They keep getting better and better! This past week, the Cheer Team travelled all the way to Grand Rapids, where they made a fine showing for themselves.
