Flipping Success: Munising Rotary Club’s Pancake Breakfast Fuels Excitement for Natural Resources Class

Munising, MI - Last Saturday, the Munising Rotary Club hosted a successful Pancake Breakfast at the Munising Middle and High School, drawing a diverse crowd of students, parents, community members and even visitors in town for the Michigan Ice Fest. The breakfast featured a spread of pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, and milk, with a suggested donation of $10.

The Lady Mustangs were taking on the Lady Nordics on Wednesday, Feb. 7, and controlled things from the start, to the tune of a 52-12 victory.

Leslie Newlin

Leslie Newlin, 94, of Wallace, Mich. Passed away at home following a brief illness surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 10, 2024. He was born to late Otto and Elsie (Miller) Newlin in Wallace. Leslie graduated from Stephenson High School in 1947. In 1951 he was drafted into the United States Army, where he served in the Korean War until 1953 when he was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal.
