In recognition of Older Driver Safety Awareness Week, Dec. 5-9, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is reminding residents that resources are available through the Michigan Department of State (MDOS) for residents to educate themselves on safe driving at any age. Benson encourages older Michigan drivers and their family members to take advantage of available resources at Michigan.gov/ AgingDriver.

Bingo jackpot breaks $1,400 The Munising Moose Lodge progressive bingo jackpot is now at $1,405. Players need to cover their card of 25 spaces in 62 numbers or less to win.

The sentencing for Jason David Sadowski has been delayed even further after a hearing was delayed on Wednesday. Proceedings on December 7 regarded an unruled motion from the trial in October.
