You and your little ones won’t want to miss out on our Summer Reading/ Forest Service Adventure next Wednesday, July 24. Join us as we collaborate with the U.S. Forest Service in an offsite adventure at Valley Spur. We will all meet in the Valley Spur parking lot at 1:00 p.m. and Smokey Bear will be on hand as we explore the outdoors! We are all excited to wish Smokey a Happy 80th Birthday, hear some great stories in the outdoors, and explore while we learn! This is a great event for the whole family! Hey Kids! Timber harvests are an important part of Michigan’s $26 billion forest products economy. Michigan’s forest products industry has hit a new peak, adding $26.5 billion to Michigan’s economy, according to new data released by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
