Munising Class of 1980 Remembrance and Reunion Meeting Planned

The Munising Class of 1980 announces a reunion planning meeting on July 2nd. Starting at 12:30 PM, a remembrance memorial will be held at Bayshore Park, followed by a planning session at 1:00 PM at Gallery Cafe for the 2025 Class of 1980 Reunion. All Class of 1980 members are encouraged to attend both events to honor departed classmates and contribute to organizing the upcoming reunion. City Commission Meeting Recap: April 15, 2024

The Munising City Commission held a scheduled meeting on April 15, 2024 at the City Hall. All but one Commissioner were present and nine residents attended. Several new business actions were taken. The appointment of Robin Pavase and DJ Raica to the Planning Commission was approved as was the proposed License Agreement for the Fourth of July committee. There was a presentation on the upcoming Earth Fest events to be held at Munising School Public Library beginning April 20 at 10:30 a.m.
