Munising Township officials have officially ended their discussions about absorbing Grand Island Township. “For now, it is off the agenda,” Munising Township Supervisor Lisa Howard said at the township’s regular monthly meeting on Monday, Oct.

Fall Phantasm Saturday Marquette Fringe’s annual Halloween event Phantasm will be Saturday, Oct. 7 from 3-11 p.m.

Branden Daniel Klyk, a 34-year-old Trenary man previously found guilty of torture and criminal sexual conduct, has been sentenced to a minimum of 22 years in prison, as announced by Marquette County Prosecutor Matt Weise.
