Shingleton William “Bill” Marvin Somerville, Jr., age 74, of Shingleton, died peacefully in his sleep following a lengthy illness on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his home. Private family services will be held, services are in care of Bowerman Funeral Home.

Trenary - Katherine “Katie” A. Whitehead, 49, of Trenary died Sunday, March 5, 2023.

Munising - James R. “Jim” LeVeque, 92, of Munising died Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Munising Memorial Hospital.

Chatham - Richard “Dick” William Koski, Sr., 77, of Chatham died Saturday, March 4, 2023, at his home under the loving care of his family and North Woods Home Hospice. Visitation and funeral were on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Bowerman Funeral Home.

Munising - Diane R. Hoover, 73, of Munising died unexpectedly and surrounded by family at Advent Health in Tampa, Fla. on February 27, 2023. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Bowerman Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Pastor Jim Rodgers will conduct Diane’s Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Munising - Robert David Methot, 32, lifetime resident of Munising died unexpectedly but peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at UPHS in Marquette following heart issues. Services are going to be held at Eden Lutheran Church in Munising on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Visiting time with family and friends will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Pastor Tera Kossow will conduct Bobby’s celebration of life service at 1 p.m. where all are welcome. Bowerman Funeral Home.
