Freshmen Jesse Burg and Dillon Raab both went undefeated in their classes to lead the Lakeland University men’s wrestling team as it hosted the Muskie Scramble to open its season Saturday at the Moose & Dona Woltzen Gymnasium.

Munising graduate Riley Murk was named to the St. Norbert scout team players of the week on November 3. The offensive lineman was one of three players recognized for their efforts in preparing the Green Knights for their varsity games that week. It was his first collegiate accolade.

The no. 11 women’s soccer team defeated the Michigan Tech Huskies 1-0, sealing the deal for the program’s first regular season championship.
