Playing on its home court for the final time this season, the Superior Central volleyball team was able to pick up a four-set win. The Cougars defeated Big Bay de Noc on Oct. 24 with scores of 1825, 25-23, 26-24 and 25-23.

The Northern Lights League announced its 2024 Soccer All-Conference Team last week, and three Munising Baptist players earned a place on the list. In addition, three more Munising Baptist Bobcats earned honorable mention.

With no week 9 game scheduled, Saturday’s homecoming 8-player football game with Carney- Nadeau served as Superior Central’s season finale. And what a way to cap the season for the Cougars, as they thoroughly dominated the Wolves for a 66-0 victory.

The Munising volleyball team began last week with a victory at Powers North Central. The Mustangs topped the hosts on Monday, Oct.

Hosting sixth-ranked Crystal Falls Forest Park was certainly expected to be a tough matchup for Superior Central on Oct. 15. The Cougars did drop the contest, but considering just how good Forest Park is, they came away from the 25-22, 25-10 and 2512 setback not feeling too badly about their performance.
