Mustangs XC competes in Norway, Rudyard

This was another two-meet week for the Munising cross country teams. On Monday the Mustangs traveled down to Norway for their invitational. It was a cloudy, cool, misty day which led to many fast times. The 3-mile course, which was partly run on a race car track, was flat and fast. Starting with the high school races, the girls got things kicked off. The team was short handed again and didn’t have a team score. However, for those who ran, they all achieved season best times. Alexandra Goss was first for the team crossing the finish line in 10th place in 22:37. She was followed by Kate Mattson (14th place, 22:54), Avery Seymour (28th place, 24:35), and Julia Prunick (34th place, 25:40). For their finishes both Alexandra and Kate were medalists.
