The Munising competitive cheer teams competed in Escanaba on Saturday, Jan. 14 in their first meet of the calendar year. The Mustangs took third in Division 4 and fifth of seven total high school teams at the invitational, scoring 611.48 total points for their three-round score. Host Escanaba had the best score overall at 705.66, while Gladstone (700.8) and Norway (636.42) finished ahead of the Mustangs in their division.
