A beautiful drone photo from Kevin Dunham shows the aftermath of recent snowstorms earlier this week in Grand Island Township. Snowfall has been inconsistent in the area with warm temperatures impacting the base. Snow levels are strongest in eastern Alger County and Seney Township while western Alger County is patchy due to rainfall. Snowmobile groups have worked diligently to groom the trails and riders being able to enjoy the experience, but the weather has provided more opportunities for ice climbing, skiing and winter photography.
