A custom-made bench was installed outside the Munising Middle/High School main entrance on Wednesday, May 31 in honor of Barry Johnson. Johnson was a former educator at the school and also a former Timber Products employee. The bench is made of hard maple from and took weeks to dry, plane and hand-deliver to the trades class at the high school before Munising High School Industrial Arts Teacher Bob Miles and his students finished the product.
