The Alger Parks and Recreation annual Concert in the Park series debuted Tuesday, June 13 with Marquette-band The Wayouts performing. Unfortunately, the concert was threatened by poor weather at Bayshore Park, where the concerts are usually played. For the first time in the Concert in the Park series, the event was shifted indoors to Gallery Coffee Company, where the band was able to still perform on the main stage. Concerts remain on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Bayshore Park when the weather is good. Brice Burge
