The old Forest Inn Supper Club was formally demolished on Wednesday, Nov. 15. The building had fallen into deep disrepair over the last decade, sitting empty for roughly 20 years next to the Holiday Inn Express in Grand Island Township. At one point, the building hosted some of the nicer restaurants in the area, hosting multiple class reunions, marriages and more. Rampant use of asbestos made the building impossible to restore.
