The Alger County Chamber of Commerce is trying to reward the competitiveness of local businesses going all out for their holiday decoration with a new travelling trophy. The Chamber has sponsored an annual holiday facade grant that helps local businesses in the Munising DDA decorate their buildings for the holiday season and as more businesses participate year after year, the displays are getting more and more ornate. The Chamber voted on the winning displays during the Rekindle event on Thursday, so winners will be announced in next week’s Beacon. Alger County Chamber of Commerce
