Joyce Oas The Alger County Community Chorus prepares for their annual Christmas Cantata at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Sunday, Dec. 3. The chorus’s cantata this year is entitled “The Road to Bethlehem” by Lloyd Larson on Sunday, December 10, at 3:00 pm, Mather Auditorium. The Cantata will be narrated by Chuck Mannisto, Zach Peterson on drums, Joyce Kelto Oas accompanying/directing. Also taking part in this concert will be “Joyful Noise” kid’s choir, directed/ accompanied by Julie LaFlamme & Grace Veneberg & featuring guitarist Brad Veneberg; “The Gospel Guys”; soloist Josh Farmer; and “Rejoice!” ladies group. There will be a Community sing-a-long to close out the program.
