The Munising Baptist Bobcats kicked off their basketball season with a tough 72-54 loss to the Big Bay de Noc Black Bears. The home team was led by Braedon Thill, who hit five three pointers in the first half. The Swift brothers Ryan and Dylan led the Bobcats with 28 and 11 points respectively. Munising Baptist will stay on the road this week, flying for a double header on Beaver Island to take on the Islanders Dec. 9-10. The first home game for the Bobcats will be Dec. 16 against Grand Marais at Mather Elementary. Big Bay de Noc Schools
