The Superior Central Cougars line up offensively against the Engadine Eagles on Saturday, Oct. 14 in Eben Junction. The Cougars were unable to get the ball moving in their matchup and lost their homecoming game 36-0. The Eagles were able to continue their winning streak, which is now up to five after starting the season 0-3. Engadine is also favored next week against Bear Lake and could be a playoff team for the first time since 2019. Superior Central has one more opportunity to secure a win this year, as they host Alger County rival Munising on Sat. Oct. 21. Kickoff is at noon. Brooke Frusti
